Professor Carl V Asche, MBA, MSc, PhD, is the Executive Director of the Pharmacotherapy Outcomes Research Center and Research Professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy at the University of Utah College of Pharmacy, Salt Lake City, USA.
His research focuses on the use of comparative effectiveness research and cost-effectiveness analysis in health care decision-making. His academic work has comprised of authoring and co-authoring over 130 peer-reviewed publications appearing in the medical economics literature. He serves on numerous national and international health economics-focused boards and committees. Carl’s current research is funded by federal agencies and pharmaceutical companies.
