
Dr Symret Singh
Bachelor of Commerce (University of Sydney), Doctor of Medicine (University of Wollongong), Master of Public Health (University of Sydney)
Dr Symret Singh joined GENI as a Senior Project Manager in 2024 and was promoted to Director, Perioperative Health Economics andPolicy in April 2026. She is involved in research concerning digital health interventions in healthcare and clinical practice guidelines. She brings a unique blend of analytical expertise and practical insights, shaped by her diverse experiences in clinical medicine, health economics, and strategic consulting.
Symret currently serves as a Medical Doctor at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney and is pursuing training in Anaesthesia. Her commitment to improving patient care extends beyond the clinical setting, as evidenced by her contributions as President of the Resident Medical Association, and on hospital committees on infection control, vascular access and junior doctor wellbeing.
Dr Singh has also excelled in academia and teaching, currently holding a position as Clinical Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney Faculty of Medicine and Health.
Her research portfolio reflects a commitment to addressing complex healthcare challenges. She has published work with the Health Economics Research Centre, Oxford focusing on developing life expectancy tools using relative risk parameters to evaluate medical interventions.
Prior to her clinical career, Symret gained experience in health consulting and policy development with Accenture UK and the US Congress. These roles, combined with her studies in Commerce and Public Health at the University of Sydney, have helped inform her medical practice and expertise.
